The COLAS Group is a long-standing player in the construction sector, having been established in New Caledonia since 1979.
Through its two subsidiaries, COLAS NC and GTNC, the Group now has a strong presence throughout the island and is an integral part of the local economic fabric.
Over the years, in keeping with the group’s inborn entrepreneurial spirit, COLAS has steadily invested and put in place ambitious training policies, thus broadening the wide range of skills and services it offers throughout the country.

Founding of the Société des Bitumes de Nouvelle-Calédonie (SBNC) and acquirement of a stake in the Société Prandi company
1990
Takeover of Société Prandi, which became COLAS NC
1999
Merger of SBNC and COLAS NC
2001
Establishment of a permanent location in Voh in the North Province
2002
Launch of the Construction company
2011
Asphalt Plant established in the North Province
2014
Creation of GTNC in order to manage the Construction company
